The study was performed by Amanda Rao (RDC Global – Brisbane). The aim of this study is to understand the absorption of Affron® into the plasma. Little work has been done on the absorption and pharmacokinetics of saffron and its constituents. This study will help to understand how quickly Affron®  is absorbed into the plasma and its metabolism in the body.

A randomized clinical trial to determine the efficacy of Affron®, a standardized extract of Saffron (Crocus sativus) on mood and cognitive function in healthy adults over 4 weeks. (Amanda Rao). Published.
